I'm ENGAGED!!!

Of course most of you already know by now that I am engaged but I wanted to make a different sort of announcement :) AJ and I have changed the date to November 8th so I hope that everyone will still be able to make it. I love him so much and I am looking forward to spending eternity with him! It has been a bit hectic lately with school, work, and wedding plans, and I am sure it is only going to get more busy :( I really need to make sure that I pass this semester so I am trying to find that fine balance (which I am sure you all know exactly what I mean!). I will post pictures of us together as soon as I get some :). I love you all!

Family Camping Trip

We went camping as a family last weekend and it was a blast with lots of food, company, atv rides, games, rain, durt, paint markers (guns), camp fire, sweaters, blankets, naps, books, somemores, and of course laughter.

They are Married!! (Eleesha and Jared)

We are so excited to welcome Jared into our family. They were sealed in the Las Vegas Temple for time and all eternity on July 12th 2008. It was a wonderful day!

It's me again!!

So I haven't written in some time because nothing has really happened. With that said, tons of little things have happened (nothing too important) and I figured the only people that read this anyway are the ones that want to know the little things that are going on in my life. So this week has flown by, my parents left on Monday for a 10 day extravaganza and I must say that I am quite jealous. It has been so lonely here at the house with no one else here (eleesha works in the morning and I work in the evening, so we both have the house to ourselves... well, eleesha has a friend staying here so she doesn't get to lonely). So I was going to go visit my friends in reno because I have a three day weekend, but my best friend (the one I usually mooch off of is "out of town" for the weekend). So I think I have decided to stay here for the weekend which will be good because I am making a quilt for one of my friends, at work, baby shower. I am just worried about a weekend at the house by my self... (eleesha is taking a day trip tomorrow and will probably be attending church with Jared)... we'll see. Besides that I have another work filled week ahead of me (again with no parents), so nothing too exciting. For those who know, I have a friend coming home from his mission on July 2nd which is coming up soooo quickly... so again, we'll see ;D. I hope you are doing well... don't forget to write. Love you always!

VACATION

Matt and I finally got to get away for a four day weekend. It was sooo nice to relax and spend quality time together. For the first night we stayed at a mountain ranch in Williams Arizona. It was chilly when we got there and neither one of us even thought to bring jackets being it was supposed to hit 100 in Vegas. So there were no clothing stores in Williams so we drove to Flagstaff and luckily found some jackets (they were both on sale, we were stoked about that) Then we headed back for our horse ride. It was so nice a relaxing, a great way to start a vacation. We saw lots of deer. It was also at twilight, in the forest so it was absolutely beautiful.

The next day we traveled to Prescott Arizona. we wandered around down town for a while then decided it would be fun to see a movie. So after a short adventure we found the theatre and saw Narnia prince Caspian, it wasn't as good as the first one but i enjoyed it. On Saturday, we headed out and got massages (Matt's first one) and went looking for property for sale. We quickly got tired of that and headed back to the hotel for a nap (just because you can do that when you are on vacation) That evening Amber and Mckade came and brought Kaleb to us and we went out to dinner. It was so good to see them again, even if it was for a short time. And on Sunday we headed home.

As for Kaleb he had adventures on his own. He had a two night sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa mandeles' house but he couldn't stay for the third night because they were leaving to go on a cruise. So they flew with him to Phoenix where amber and mckade picked him up, watch and played with him for the day, then drove him to Prescott to where we were. It took a lot of planing, but everything turned out great (or so i hear) It was a fun vacation, and it couldn't have happened without help, thanks to everyone who took good care of my son. I love you and appreciate all your help.

Here are some pictures (sorry i didn't take very many, i was on vacation)

Matt is done!!!

Yeah, as of this Thurs Matt has his bachelors in Architecture from UNLV. We survived another semester!! Matt has been working hard and long hours (his average day was 17 hours long). We are all so proud of him (even though he only sees it as a mile stone because he will be getting his masters). I am so excited to see him more often, and for him to have regular 40 hour weeks. Matt is an amazing husband. So, here is a pic of him on the run.

6 months and still growing

Kaleb turned 6 months on may 2nd, and he is such a joy in my life. He loves mirrors, being upside down, swinging, being outside, and kids(especially anna, she can make him laugh too :) ) He is rolling over both directions now, but only when he feels like it. He is just so full of life, but yet he will relax and enjoy the fresh air and cuddle with loved ones. He reminds me already how far i have to go to be close to perfect. He has become a little picky, he dosn't like people with glasses, and gets nervous when being held by certain people. I am just so greatful to be his mom!!

We Have a Job

Here we are hard at work. This is Anna, she is the little girl we watch on mondays and wed. She is a good example to Kaleb because she crawls and plays with toys. She also likes to try and eat kalebs hands and feet. My hands are always full the two of them, but it is a blast. We are so blessed the the Brown's allow me to bring Kaleb with me to work!

Kaleb is Growing Up

Well, my little man is growing up so fast. He was 4 months old on March 2nd. He rolled over for the first time on March 1st from his stomach to his back. He has also started eating rice cereal and he loves it. Another step is he is taking is trying all kinds of new toys, the jumper at grandma's house (although he is more interested in toys then jumping for now), and the exerciser at work. He likes the new Independence. And he has found his voice, he loves to coo and sing especially when we are in the car. He loves to give smiles to anyone that will give him one (most of the time, except when he is none responsive just like his Dad) He has so many people that love him! He just can't get enough love and attention!

Family Reunion Continued

Family Reunion

We had a wonderful family snowmobiling weekend on martin luther king weekend. We stayed at a luxurious 6,000 sq feet cabin in Brian head canyon. There was alot of fun and games. We rented the snowmobiles on saturday. We each took short trips right from the cabin. The sceenery was beautiful and the weather was perfect for the occation. We played alot of the game "rock band" on the playstation on the big screen TV. And there was definatly LOTS of great food. Thanks to everyone that came, it was a fabulous weekend. It was so fantastic that we booked the same cabin for next year as soon as we got back home!

Kaleb's blessing

Kaleb is doing great, he is growing like a weed. He loves to eat, he would eat every hour if i let him. He can almost hold his head up when he is on his tummy. He is more interested in toys adn the world around him. And he loves smiles from everyone who loves him, and he gladly gives one in return (most of the time). He never ceases to amaze me. He loves having "cooing" conversations with anyone who will listen. We recently blessed him on Jan 13th, thanks to all of you for your love and support, and here are some pics of my little man, enjoy!
